This Is What We Call A Brain.

Women are generally shocked when they find out that I listen to metal.

I can’t blame them. I look like I listen to hipster garbage, but truth be told… I absolutely can’t stand shit like that. I was raised to love metal and I always will. It’s who I am.

I’m sorry that I don’t like listening to garage beats and trash can lids being hit. I just embrace the style, because hipsters have a wonderful sense of fashion.

I’d give ‘em that.

IM SO HUNGRY

but i’m too lazy to make myself something to eat.

THIS IS A PROBLEM.

I listen to this playlist EVERYDAY. They flow into each other so well that it’s just insane and I really dig the overall variety of it all. There’s only word to describe a playlist like this…

METAL.

Jeff Loomis - The Ultimatum (playthrough)

Mr. Loomis is just TOO good.

Extra dimensional beings bent on mankind’s destruction is just about the scariest thing I’ve ever heard.

I’m starting to get back into Trivium…

and I really can’t believe I didn’t like them at a point in time. They’re so good and their mixture of melodies and metal compliment each other really well. It’s weird to think that I disliked them for a little bit because they were becoming mainstream and started associating themselves with bands like Disturbed (playing shows at least). I realized that thinking like that is the most ridiculous thing to do. You should only dislike a band because their sound changes, but not because they’re getting more recognition.

My best friend Ian is probably facepalming hard right now, because he’s the one that introduced me to them with Entrance To The Conflagration (which is still a badass song) and he dislikes them with a passion now for some reason. But whatever… I’m getting back to my musical roots and I’m digging every moment of it.

Complexity in music doesn’t make it good… just sayin’.

Cheers!

Muse>Between The Buried And Me>Dream Theater>Opeth>Meshuggah>Animals As Leaders>The Mars Volta>Coheed and Cambria>Protest The Hero>Periphery

That’s the list of favorite bands in order. My musical taste is everywhere… I know.

I might leave my guild…

and it might be the hardest thing to do. So many great people and experiences, but I’m not downing the content I want to. I mean, I got my Destroyer’s End title, but I need damn gem clusters for my daggers and the core rogue is getting all of them. =/

I don’t know what to do. I have 3 guilds on my ass… wanting me to join their shenanigans, but the question is:

Friends or content?

All this dubstep in video game trailers needs to fucking stop.

And that “drop the bass” faggot from Skrillex needs to die in a fire too.

I get worked up over excessively used, washer and dryer sounding music… okay?

Icarus Lives- Scott Stapp Audition

lol the vocal harmonies kill me.

So here’s a fun fact:

You know the Death Star? Well, it’ll take 8.1 quadrillion dollars to fund, take over 833,000 years to build, and the iron needed for construction would have to come from the earth’s core, which would pretty much bottom out the planet. So yeah… Alderaan can sleep soundly tonight.

lol Lori

Hell yeah. You subliminally tell Rick to kill Shane like the devil on his shoulder. I got chills when Rick just looked at the camera and just smirked. Although I don’t think it’s going to be Rick to kill Shane, but rather Carl since he killed him (very early on) in the comics. I don’t know how it’ll work out, but death in the show has (somewhat) been faithful to its counter-part.

This episode was definitely the best of the season no doubt and I’m generally hooked more than I previously was. I’m also happy that the season is actually picking up pace with Rick being all badass and his obvious dislike of legs. Although, can we stop with the whole searching aspect? It seems to be constantly happening in my opinion. haha. Anyway… good job AMC. Good job. I’m excited to see where all of this goes.
